Fallen Earth is a relatively new MMO that uses First Person Shooter mechanics combined with a robust crafting system. The following is a guide to the basics of the game and an introduction to its character creation and building system useful for anybody who wants to start their adventure in the wasteland.
Fallen Earth uses a stat and skill system. Progression in both is achieved in two ways:
The game has a level maximum of 45; progression is achieved by gaining experience form killing monsters, doing quests, salvaging materials or crafting. At each level up one stat point is added to each of the stats and consequentially skills automatically.
Each level is split into 10 sections, completing it yields 2 AP. These points can be used to expand both your skills and stats.
Combining the above, straight leveling to 45 will rewards a total of 880 AP. The game however offers many quests that give AP rewards, the current top limit of AP you can get is reported as somewhere between 1100 and 1200, however as of writing this guide, no definite top number exists.
Also, as of this moment, there is no way to respect or re-spend AP. Most developer news seem to point out that there will be a way to do it in the future, but it is mean not to be cheap or easy, so spend your points wisely.
